Overview

Fast Five App ("the App") is a social ranking platform operated by Fast Five App Incorporated ("we," "us," or "our"). This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding your data.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

your email address (stored securely via Firebase Authentication)
a password (stored securely via Firebase Authentication)
a display name you choose — your display name is visible to other users when you post public comments

Rankings

When you submit rankings, your choices and scores are stored and linked to your account. Your individual rankings are private by default. Aggregate rankings derived from all users' submissions are displayed publicly, but your individual choices are not visible to other users unless you choose to share them.

User-Generated Content

If you post public comments — including comments on rankings — those comments are visible to all users of the App and are associated with your display name.

Device Identifier

We collect a device identifier (Apple's Identifier for Vendor) — a random ID unique to your device for this Developer — when you perform account-related actions such as creating your account, changing your display name, or submitting content. This identifier is used for account integrity and audit purposes and is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Automatically Collected Information

The App uses Google Firebase for authentication and data storage. While these services process data through Google's infrastructure, we have disabled Firebase Analytics and advertising features. We do not collect analytics events, crash reports, or advertising identifiers. Firebase services may process technical information such as IP addresses as part of normal infrastructure operation. Google's standard data processing terms apply to data handled by Firebase services.

To send you account-related communications (e.g., email verification)
To protect account integrity and prevent abuse
To improve and develop new features

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information or share it with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share data with service providers that help us operate the App (e.g., Google Firebase for authentication and data storage). Your display name and public comments are visible to other users within the App. Aggregate rankings are public, but your individual rankings are not shared unless you choose to share them. We may introduce additional sharing features in the future, and this policy will be updated accordingly.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account directly within the app by navigating to your profile, tapping Account Maintenance, and then Delete Account. The process removes your sign-on user, display names, identifying information, and your personal data such as private topics, private items, and messages. Your public comments are anonymized rather than deleted: their text is replaced with a placeholder and they are no longer associated with your display name. Public topics and public items other users have interacted with are retained as community data. You may also request deletion by contacting us at the email address below.

Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised effective date.
